Dr. Doom by SarahPerryman Dr. Doom by SarahPerryman
I just finished coloring these great lines by Jorge Molina :iconzurdom:. I was forced to take about a month off from coloring and it was probably the best thing that could have happened. I was feeling like my coloring skills had gotten stuck and kept trying to force them to improve. But, having to completely forget about coloring in order to get some of my students ready for testing and prepare for my new job at the school, really cleared my head and I am enjoying the work again and making a very big improvement.

I always tell me students to take a break instead of forcing it - I guess I should follow my own advice!

I do all my art in Photoshop. I bought Corel painter but have not become friends with it. It seems a little slow and clumsy to me, but I keep trying to get along with it.

I do. I started with a refurbished Intuos 2 and used that for many years. I have upgraded in the last couple of months but my Intuos is still great.

awesome :) I even showed it to my little brothers and niece (they love this sort of stuff too). They like how shiny you made the metal.

Lol, that's the best kind of praise. My hubby is always impressed with shiny metals in paintings so I had to work hard to make him proud.

Lol, thanks a lot Peter! I'm really trying to make an improvement in my coloring - though I don't think this would work out for sequential pages unless I had a very long deadline!
